In Response To: What's up with the Forge Maps? (SEspider)

About weapon balance, anyway. Halo 5 feels better than any other Halo in that regard.

: But that was because there were no DMRs or BRs to deal with.

So would you have the Magnum go back to being useless, leaving people that spawn to be immediately screwed by those that managed to snag a BR or DMR? That turns one sided very quickly. The Magnum sits in a very nice place right now, I think. It can be used effectively to give you a shot against enemies with a BR or DMR, but with not as much range, so there's still very much a reason to swap out for those weapons. And it loses up close to thinks like the SMG or SAW (or even the Suppressor).

I'm very happy with the weapon balance; it's the only Halo that hasn't devolved into just BR-only shootouts from the outskirts of the map.

: And why doesn't the Radar have a elevation indicator for players? More then half
: the time, I can't tell where someone is. Is he on the other side of the
: wall, below me, or above me? I just can't tell. I'm getting off subject.

This I actually don't have an issue with. It's where map knowledge and spacial awareness come into play. You shouldn't necessarily know exactly where another player is. I wouldn't mind having an elevation indicator, but I don't think it's necessary.

I can't comment on the Forge maps, though, as I haven't played many of them. I mainly play Warzone Assault, and I've only played ten games of Team Slayer.
