How have you been using REQ packs?

I was just kinda curious to see the return some folks are getting from REQ packs.

I personally just wait until I have 10,000 points and buy only Gold packs and rely on rank up and Commendation packs (I honestly usually just sell most of what I get; I don't need Needlers, Scout 'Hogs and Mongooses). Warzone nets over 1,000 REQ points upon completion, so in 9 or 10 matches, I can buy another gold pack.

Gold packs have two customizations pieces, be it armor, helmets, visors, emblems, stances, or assassinations, so they're the way to go if you're after that stuff, I think. But I've not opened any Silver packs, so I'm not sure on what's contained in those.

Has anyone gotten any customization stuff in anything other than a Gold Pack?
