This is one reason I'm not going to a midnight release (the other being the total absence of public transport at midnight). It probably won't take 4 hours. You can sometimes start playing before the install is complete - MGS V let me start playing at around 25%. Obviously this will differ game-to-game.

But yeah, tl;dr don't hold your breath.
