In Response To: 343 keeping in contact with Marty (MELEE)

: I was browsing an article related to warzone on gamereactor and found an
: interesting Q&A regarding our beloved maestro. Below is the relevant
: excerpt from an interview with Tim Longo.

: Q: With the original composer, Martin O'Donnell, now working as a
: freelancer, was there ever any consideration of hiring him to do the
: soundtrack or even a few tunes?

: A: It came up, but it was to late at that time, he was in transition but
: we still keep in contact with him.

: Would be great to see him back in the Halo loop (heh!). Here's the entire
: article for anybody interested, there is a follow-up question regarding
: Marty, but Tim avoids giving a direct answer:

Well, Marty's own site potentially facetiously claims he has NOT been contacted by 343i to score the Spielberg-produced TV series...

Whatever the case, I hope Marty decides to stay involved with Halo in some way in the future. He's a beloved composer, and his music has become iconic in an industry of icons.
