To be honest, murdering your subordinates on a whim because they look at you funny isn't exactly what I expect from a Spartan. Zane is more of a full-on psychopath.

I agree her portrayal here is quite good -- they really sell the idea that she's scary as hell -- but it's hard to view that in isolation from her preposterous introduction. I mean, her augmentations are supposed to be so good they make armor unnecessary? Then we see her getting slammed into metal walls and surviving in space for what seems like hours. It's like she came straight out of X-Men or something.
