: I liked it. Probably my favorite Halo book this year so far. I found the
: writing a lot better than Hunters in the Dark, and enjoyed the way it
: didn't try to hype itself up as some big galactic story for a change. Even
: though the book was slow at times I appreciated the little moments with
: the characters. The interactions between the main cast were very
: enjoyable.

: I'm glad to see the Spartan-IIIs being given some love too, and I hope this
: isn't the last we see of them. They've certainly been neglected for far
: too long for no good reason. If there will be sequels to this (I hope
: there will) I wouldn't mind the same author returning.

Yeh they seemed really effective. We weren't worrying about how vulnerable they were without shields.

The book is one of my faves too.
