So when they tell me "Omg Forge has great new tools!" I am cautious.

The two maps we saw in the Beta were interesting, but the only thing that really jumped out was more round pieces and some barred windows(or bars, similar to the H2A trim.)

They also bragged about how awesome their Halo 4 canvas maps were... which were really small, had lighting issues, and were nowhere near Forge World's capacity or variety.

H2A gave us three empty maps with the same blocks. At least Halo 4 gave us some different textures on them. Most of the H2A gametypes were broken, lacking options, or changed how they were setup for no apparent reason.

Example - You can enable Safe Havens in Infection. You cannot change the countdown timer. It's always going to be 30-seconds.

Example 2 - When creating Infection Spawns, you MUST tag them or you won't spawn properly. I've seen players spawn in the air and fall to their deaths because they weren't tagged. I don't mean "Attacker/Defender," I mean "FFA INFECTION SPAWN", etc.

Ask SESpider about setting up his CTF maps.

Don't get me started on Halo 2A vehicles and turrets having the overheat without any HUD indicator...

But yes. After two games with a broken Forge, I am not willing to preorder a game from 343i without first seeing the editor in action, a good view of the maps, and the promise that no essential features, LIKE ZOOM or PRECISION EDITING, were removed.

We shall see.
