You know what's weird? I met you in real life, and I thought you were a decent guy. Going by DBO I would be inclined to go with that feeling. The last few years on HBO have made me rethink that.
This whole thread I was thinking people were being too hard on Spider... until the end, largely because he refused to take input from disparate sources and kept repeating points he made when once or twice (maybe three times in a big thread) should be the stopping point. That said, the ways you could have been less of a dick in pointing out the errors in facts and logic (and spelling) in this thread are way too many for me to want to count. Yes, Spider did something dumb, and defended it more than he should have, and he's not innocent as a person (to the point I'm rethinking what kind of person he is), but you act like you have a vendetta: digging up unrelated stuff-- bad, yes, but unrelated to the topic; using name-calling; making fun of his voice and accent and mannerisms; and just posting so much, even after you have also made points multiple times.* You do this with people sometimes and I can't tell if you're that mad, or you're that committed to making other people mad, or what is even going on, but whatever the cause it's never fun to watch. I have a certain appreciation for you though, I guess-- you fly that asshole flag on a regular basis, unlike Snipe who just encourages other people when they do it and occasionally takes potshots, like he wants to be edgy but not so edgy he gets banned, or like he cares what people think but not so much he's not cool.
I just wish it was more clear and consistent what you are because you don't act like that all the time and you try to do good things like that forge contest-- which I would've vocally supported if it was by anyone else and I really probably should've supported it anyway-- but you still stuff like you did in this thread.
