Really, this shouldn't have to be explained. But, I'm not myself inculpable; sometimes I can't recognize my own behavior until I've taken a step back and removed myself from the equation. I don't think it's unfair to say pretty much everyone has had that experience in the past. So, perhaps you're not seeing exactly what you're communicating.
To put it politely, you're behaving like a child, and it's incredibly irritating.
Respectfully disagreeing with the selected playlist for an event someone else went to the trouble of setting up and hosting is the behavior of an adult. Politely asking if the host would he/she would consider other gametypes in the future is the behavior of an adult. Whining about the current gametypes being played is the behavior of a child. Refusing to play Rocket Race because you don't like it, thereby souring your teammate's game experience by leaving them down a player is the behavior of a child. Not just politely leaving the lobby is the behavior of a child. Writing a forum post afterward dictating what others should feel and think is the behavior of a child.
