I think people tend to forget that the death of a digital being is a whole lot different from a biological being. When I uninstall a program from my computer I can still find active traces of its existence in the system. Little faint echoes of who and what Cortana was will undoubtedly still linger throughout whatever systems she has once existed on. I believe that includes the Domain.

Do I think that Cortana is going to jump into a crystal and pop into her boy's head? Nah. I dunno. She can exist in a whole lot of forms. Cortana is a very special girl.
