: So Blue, Chief included, finally got their hands on some GenII MJOLNIR

When I think of the Mk. V, I think of a Military Humvee. It's rugged, powerful, and ridiculously durable.
The Mk.V cost as much as a warship to produce, and so each individual suit was a sacrifice, but well worth it, and good enough to be top-of-the-line for decades...

S-III armor reminded me of the H2. Cheaper, easily customizable, and nowhere near as good as the Humvee, but still awesome, and awesome looking. Something you would make in a last-ditch effort.

Gen 2 armor is like an H3, apparently. Much cheaper to mass produce, much lower quality, and pretty ugly. Something you can pump out of an assembly line to slap on a soldier and send them on their way.

So why would anyone ditch their nuclear-powered, Titanium-armored Humvee for an H3?
