Someone has to replace Cortana and there's none better than the Chief's lifelong buddies. It's hard to imagine who would actually be unhappy about Blue Team appearing in-game.

That said, Blue Team's armors aren't growing on me either. I'd love to sit down with the character artists and hear them justify some of these design decisions because of how utterly bizarre they are. I mean, we get that they're Blue Team without making Fred and Kelly actually blue (and then having Linda be muted brown for some reason). And why the gold/yellow detailing on Fred and Kelly?

There's no reason they shouldn't have gotten new armor by this point. I eagerly await to see what bullshit excuse they come up with for this, just like when they had Fred and Linda wear this same armor when they should've had classic Mark VI - because they were "testing" the new armor. Yeah right. Why were they even manufacturing the default MJOLNIR since the Chief was apparently the only Spartan ever wearing it?
