I read a few Peter David books when I was a kid. The one I remember the most was his Spider-Man novelization, just for the sheer number of references he inserted to the rest of the Marvel Universe. That's what he does. I can only wish that Karen Traviss cared to do as much research before penning her novels.

I'm still on the fence as to whether I'm going to pick this up. I haven't read the S&S excerpts, but the Amazon preview turned me off on the whole book. If I do get it, it's going to be a Kindle or something. Try out these e-books that these youngsters are talking about.
