This would be interesting. It's been pretty black/white from the Chief's (our) perspective for a while now. I think I'd like a shake-up, and the Chief as a flawed protagonist is intriguing.

On a related note - how in the world did I just realize that Hunt the Truth is this good? Holy sweet shitballs, I started with Episode 1 on a whim and pulled by headphones off 2 hours later. This is really, really good.

Some thoughts:

* I'm sure Chief had a great reason for smoking people at that conference
* Who might FERO be? An AI? Naomi?
* I want to fight ONI. Vast possibilities for new enemy types.
* The documentation thus far paints ONI as bad, and the UEG maybe as not so bad. Will the outer colonies care, or does ONI == UEG for them?
* Deep space anomalies are mysterious. Do we think this is an existing entity (i.e. Forerunner or Flood), or something new? Theories? On a whim, what if it's a Forerunner group returning from another galaxy? Might they know that the Didact was awakened?
* Voice acting is superb.
* Presentation (music, news snippets, etc) is fabulous.

Wow. Just...wow.
