There was this one time a few years back when I was hosting a game of ME3 multiplayer, and I got a pretty good group. Bunch of chatty guys who knew what they were doing, and we would have wiped the map if it weren't for the lag. Eventually they started asking each other where they lived, and I said I was in Washington. The rest of them were in northeastern states.

Player #1: "That doesn't make sense. Do you have a crappy service provider?"
Player #2: "Yeah, we're all practically right next to each other."
Player #3: "It's like playing LoL with a Brazilian."
Me: "Sigh. Washington state, not the capital."
Player #2: "Ooh."
Player #3: "Ah."
Player #1: "I wondered why you sounded like a newscaster."
