I don't know why 343i dislikes Invasion.
Even if it was just Spartans, it's still an amazing gametype.
There were more Invasion and Infection maps than any other gametype in Reach and people worked desperately to remake it in Halo 4. MCC has Incursion, which works very similar, but there is only one setup guide(Ironically, by Certain Affinity) which doesn't really explain it well enough to make it work.
Hopefully these larger scale MP gametypes are even more exciting. :)
