99% sure you'll be able to use a VPN or something else to log into this game.

Of course, if all the peer code is gone and it's dedicated servers only, you might be in a bit of a jam for getting anything custom running in it.

I'd prefer to have the Reach era engine anyway, even though it's 5 years old at this point.
