Certainly at the very least High Charity's bulk is an obstacle to destroying it from outside, but I'd have to imagine you could at the very least disable it by hammering it with the power of the Covenant's fleets. Your thought about sending in teams is certainly interesting—would be a great short story.

I was kind of hoping Broken Circle would have spent a little more time on High Charity as it was falling to pieces, but they bug out before the Flood start showing up. Would have been interesting to see the invasion from a "smaller" POV.
