I think community that loved the community, and community that loved Bungie, and community that loved DBO moved over to DBO. :) I'm still here primarily because I love Halo, and I love community that loves Halo.

As Wu succinctly intimated, life takes up a lot of time these days, and with little *new* coming from 343 that's sparking speculation and imaginative discussions (Nightfall was new, but failed a lot in the latter; comics are a sort of filler, so fail in the latter too, sadly), it's nice when there are interesting posts that spark some activity here.

But I think more relevantly -
The (old) community's getting old! ;)

(but it's not love for things that's dwindling so much as 'old'-life becoming more prioritized, it seems for most people)
