Got to meet and talk with him at PAX, very briefly. We hit it off once we realized we were both big fans of FF8.

Can't believe he's gone.

Part of me is angry. Most of me is sad.

But something else inside of me, something that Monty helped to grow, simultaneously wants to rage against this removal of a creative voice by fanning into flame a fiery passion to create.

Creating is part of who we are.

And this reminds me that we shouldn't take our opportunities to create for granted.

I am thankful for the time that I have been able to enjoy Monty and his creations.

...I just wish that I had way, way more.
