Both Prophet protagonists in Broken Circle are not, so that's covered. And both of them believed in the Great Journey, though they had their doubts. Even the current Hierarchs believed in it until MB spoiled the party.

Remember that the Prophets are, to a man, in government. Bureaucracies bring out the worst in people, especially in those that can make it to the top.
