The only way you can't write about the game is if you signed a contract containing an NDA. If the NDA lasts into the release of the product, then you can't print. If you don't sign anything, you are free to do whatever you want.

My NDA for Vanquish expired just this year, despite the game being out since 2010. Granted, it only covered the builds I was given and not the release build.
