Halo's theatre is a model that somehow, almost ridiculously, didn't start a major trend in console gaming. It's always been so simple and intuitive. The only disappointments thus far have been the compression from the game's engine to the internet for screenshots and the lack of universal mode support in Halo 4. Sadly it's a feature that has stagnated since Reach. There is much that they could improve on and add, including many of the features that makes native game capture apps so enjoyable these days like streaming and social integration.
