: Yeah, Halo 3 had higher numbers at this time.

: My prediction for the MCC population is more than likely Halo 3. For these
: reasons: - Halo 1 will be too limited for a lot of people. I'm not talking
: about gunplay, but the feature set isn't as diverse as the later games.
: Not much diversity and limited vehicle-enabled maps.

: - Halo 2 was popular, but with none of the glitches fixed, people doing the
: arms race to glitching faster than the other side will drive people away.

: - Halo 2 Anniversary multi will basically be non-glitched Halo 2, so I just
: about expect it to have higher population than old Halo 2, and it'll be
: the main focus of Forgers.

: - Halo 3 is the right combination of 'hasn't been around for a while' and
: non-bugginess. If you've ever looked at my bug list for the games, Halo 3
: was extremely short and most of them were actually already addressed via
: Forge updates.

: - Halo 4 players are playing Halo 4 right now. They're not going to exactly
: see 60fps as justification for 400$ of console just to play it with less
: people.

People seem to have forgotten how broken H2 MP was. I just skipped it after a few months and played more H1 online until H3 came out. If H1 contains the PC multiplayer unaltered a lot of people I think will enjoy it, that was really fun.
