I don't think the Composer can actually duplicate the patterns it digitizes, actually. Which may be an odd technological shortfall, but it's consistent with actually needing more humans to compose into Prometheans.

Of course, then the question is what happens when you destroy a Promethean—is it just a robotic shell with a connection to the server where the composed consciousness exists? Or is that data stored locally and destroyed? If you can't dupe composed individuals, can you at least "reboot" them and send them back into the fray?
