Meh. Halo's multimedia push coincided with a story direction that turned me off. Star Wars' multimedia push coincides with... well, I don't really care for what I've seen of Star Wars: Rebels. And I couldn't help but laugh out loud when the article described J.J. Abrams as a master imitator. He's an imitator all right, but he's not an especially faithful one.

Am I intrigued in this new direction Star Wars is being taken? Yes. My biggest gripe about the EU was that most of it just ought to uphold the status quo or recapture the emotion behind the original movies.
