Unable to get 2 H3 achievements. Help?

So, I have been going back to Halo 3 to finish up some achievements and I found out that even though I meet the requirements for 2 specific achievements, they will NOT unlock for me.

We're in for some Chop - 5G - Destroy an enemy vehicle with equipment in a ranked playlist or in campaign.
Headshot Honcho - 5G - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a ranked free for all playlist or in campaign.

I was able to execute both of these in a game just now, but was only able to get the meta-game achievement for that level.

Turns out, I have had this problem way back in 2008 as well.

In this particular case, I was able to get 62 headshot medals. I should not have this achievement locked, but it is.

I do not know where to turn here. Bungie no longer supports Halo, and 343 doesn't really support legacy titles anymore.

Anyone know where I can go to get help?
