I think her face feels about right. One thing I've noticed is that "canonically", Cortana seems to be getting progressively younger over time as her rampancy increases. It makes a lot of sense to me that she would appear slightly older and more mature in Halo 2 before her encounter with the Gravemind and all the Halo 4 stuff.
