This sounds fantastic. I'm really excited by the idea of a Halo novel with no humans whatsoever, and I love how this is presumably being tied in to the Halo 2 remake coming out around the same time. I'm guessing that the Great Schism is going to play a lot more heavily into the story going forward as the Arbiter comes back into the scene.

Also, that cover art is just fantastic. Might be my favorite.
