: I want to play Halo, not play "stop the griefers."

If I'm not mistaken, in 2005 they adjusted the objective timers so a round would not go on indefinitely.
In early H2, I remember a game that lasted seriously 12 hours bc some dbag got on top of Burial Mounds and just waited for the other team to disconnect. Went to bed, woke up, turned on tv, and sure enough the dbag was still holding the bomb out of the map. That didn't happen after they updated the sudden death times, though.
