He is right! I think most people aren't interested in just one thing, but have a diverse area of interest. I play fast action FPS, 3PS, Run & Gun, and Shmups, yet also love Adventure games.

The nature of the question and answer also seemed to imply that the 'hardcore' gamers didm't like change and wanted the same stuff, which would once again mean that the casuals have superior tastes after all.
