You can't buy that type of instant brand recognition but i understand where you're coming from.

I'm surprised these types of games don't focus solely on multiplayer (even Halo). If they didn't appropriate funds to create a campaign/co-op I would think major developers could free up more capital to focus on brand new IPs simultaneously.

THAT might just be a crazy idea though.
