How does Spartan Assault coming to Xbone and 360 sell more copies of Windows 8 or a Windows mobile device? Go ahead, I'll wait.

Yeah, I'm still really pissed off at Bungie for those Halo 3 map packs I bought right away when they came out and then got charged for them AGAIN when I bought ODST which should have only cost, like, $20 at most. What a stupid die hard fan I was!

Actually I don't. I might have missed something that everyone else did, but I didn't see ANYWHERE stating that if you bought it for Windows 8 you'd have to buy it again for Xbox. I didn't see anywhere stating the opposite either, but hey, I try my best to not jump to conclusions.

I bought it for Windows 8, played it, and enjoyed it. A couple weeks later I acquired a windows tablet through my job and for giggles I joined my Window Live ID to it, and downloaded Spartan Assault onto it (I enjoyed it more on the tablet than I did mouse and keyboard, that's another story) and I wasn't charged twice. Now had I used a different Live ID I can understand getting charged twice.

Again, I guess you know more than I do. It really sucks that companies like 343 and Bungie can't tell us everything right away. What a bunch of turds.

I'm going to take a wild guess here, and place my bet that if you paid for Spartan Assault on Windows 8 with the same windows live ID that you use for Xbox, that you won't be charged twice. My bet is that you'll be able to download it to your 360/Xboner and play away, achievements and maybe game progress following you.

I'm guessing this because MS very clearly want your profile to follow you across all their platforms- it's a feature they advertise the hell out of (One experience across all devices).
