The update adds support for extracting sound data from HaloWars' Wwise sound.pck archive (found on the game's disc). It extracts the raw .xma sound data and organizes/names the files to the best of its ability. You will need a command line tool called towav (try the download link found here) to convert the .xma files into .wav files. It creates a towav.bat file in the output folder so that you can convert all the .xma files to .wav at once. Consult the ReadMe.HaloWars.txt file for explicit instructions.
The update also improves the Reach/Halo4 game type de/encoding tool. The previous release had a bug in the frontend that resulted in Reach game types not being able to encode. This is no longer the case. Some work was done to improve the error messages relating to bad script data when trying to encode a new game type.
NOTE: Game types decoded to .xml files with the previous release of KSoft.Tool are incompatible with this release.
TL;DR, you can now extract and listen to all the unit dialogue and much more in Halo Wars. Plus you can continue to edit/make game types for Reach and Halo4 (hopefully the experience is better in this release).
