Hey guys, I've come up against a wall on a project and thought somebody/ies over here might be interested in collaborating on it for an awesome end product. What I'm doing is creating a Halo 4 map trailer for one of the best forgers I know, Hadokenchild. He's humble, nice to everyone, creates maps that are both a pleasure to experience looking at (seriously, feels sort of like you are in campaign - - well, at least as much as you can with H4 Forge ;) ) and they play well competitively too. Maps beautiful enough to inspire me to want to create trailers for them, lol.

So he wants them to be patterned after the Bungie trailers of old, to capture the excitement and anticipation. I've learned the biggest challenge for me is cutting out TONS of footage to get that crisp, fast-moving, quick-in-your-face-and-done feel - - in fact, I haven't accomplished it yet, and intend to do it this time. What I'm looking for is a custom, user-created "intro" monologue, similar to the first video posted below, to set up the scene for the trailer, then it will go into the action sequences. Then I will probably need a voice to speak those words.

I'm looking for words that speak of a continuation of the journey of Halo 4, something that could be represented in the gameplay on the maps, as if they are this continuation. If this inspires anyone, come play with me and lets create something cool! I would be more than happy to show you these maps to help with your inspiration.

Below are two videos, first is the Bungie video with the intro words for an example. The words don't have to be "Prophet-sounding", in fact I'm looking for specific Halo 4 story voices: they can be Didact, Librarian, Cortana, Chief, whomever (although obviously if it's a well-known voice it's going to be difficult to really match it). The second video is an example of my work and shows some of Hadokenchild's other maps. I will be using much shorter action sequences and the new trailer will be about the same length as the Bungie one. And this time around, my camera pans are much steadier.
