: Easier said then done.
: I've got plenty of Big Team maps in my fileshare.
: The problem is that mostly party games or slayer is played.
: I'm sick of those.

I'm sorry you feel that way. IDK about the others but I try to keep things changing and have some objective games every time. I think part of what's going on here is a difference in perspective, though-- some maps and gametypes that you just think of as silly fun I see as real legitimate ones, albeit with silly elements or whatever.

: And when we do have a larve party, its always lopsided thus preventing any
: objective games from being played. By 'lopsided' I mean that the teams are
: always unbalanced either by numbers or skill.

: To make matters worse, Forgers seem to always go for their map's power
: weapons/vehicles at the start of a game. How about letting others learn
: your map and weapon placements before you start unbalancing the game,
: people?

: I've been guilty of it myself so I understand the temptation of getting the
: first kill and owning everyone from the start. But that's not a proper
: play test for new maps. That's why I've stopped doing it.

IDK about temptation, but personally it is easy to forget everyone else doesn't know where they're going or where things are, and I was talked to about that in Reach and backed off. We've had a conversation with ShadowoftheVoid (Gravemind) about this (re: his current large map, I want to say it's called Memorial) and if we notice it happening with someone else I'd be happy to talk to them too, and actually this sounds like something to keep in mind for these occasions and custom games in general, and it could be in future sign-up posts.
