I loved The Last of Us. Seriously probably my favorite game experience of this generation, as far as single player content goes. Just loved everything about it.
However, I could not get into Uncharted.
Maybe I need to start from the beginning, but I'm not sure that'll help. See, I just recently acquired a PS3, a few months ago. I got The Last of Us, XCOM: Enemy Unknown (which is fantastic!), and Uncharted 3. Yeah, I know, not the best way to jump into a franchise. But even so, I loved the characters and the story, but I still haven't finished it. Because for whatever reason, I think the controls suck. Like way bad. Drake never goes where the fuck I want him to go, the aiming mechanic is worse than the first Mass Effect's, etc., etc. I just can't play it.
I'll have to give it another shot. That was the first thing I played on PS3 when I first got it, and I wasn't used to the controller. I still hate that stupid thing, but I've been playing Assassin's Creed III and haven't had any problems, and didn't have any with TLOU, so maybe I am used to it now, enough to go back and give Uncharted another go. Because from what I've seen, I think it's awesome. I just can't actually play the damn thing.
