I almost never remember to pass good weapons to NPCs - so no, probably I wouldn't have.

I'm probably not doing a good job of explaining my position - I have nothing against using NPCs wisely, I just never do it. For a long time, I didn't even know you COULD do it - and then I never remembered. But a few times, I've played coop with people who do it as a matter of course, and it DOES seem a little too easy for me; I'm slow and methodical when I play, so by the time I got around to certain enemies, they were already dead. I felt... cheated, a little bit, that I didn't get a chance to tangle with them myself. I don't look down on the use, though; I'm not a purist or anything. I just feel like it's more FUN to take 'em out myself. ;)

When Buck and Dare have FRGs, you don't even need to come out of the inside room. There's something wrong with that. :)
