Actually Tricia Helfer was on Battlestar Galactica not Firefly. Dare was put into the game for the express reason to push her condescending attitude towards the male ODST's around her, especially Buck. We see this type of female in nearly every TV show and movie, especially if there are a male and female characters working closely together in lead roles. The male character is written like he is not "in touch with his emotions" and the lead female character treats the male lead character like he is a terminally immature 8 year old boy in need of constant supervision. When I said TV shows, I wasn't lumping reality TV shows into the entertainment cesspool because I don't watch Reality TV.
