Uhhh, dude, I was kinda just speaking figuratively....ehh, kinda. I'm awfully picky with my in-game fashions and I wouldn't be caught dead in something not worthy of adorning my pixelatedly augmented physique. Anyhoo, I've been wanting to get back into Halo 4 for a while now and this is good enough of a reason to do so.
: What's the thing drawing you back, especially if the gameplay itself is
: still, to be tame, flawed?
: Or does it pull you back in for say a month and then bye bye again?
I never thought Halo 4's multiplayer was terribly flawed. I rather enjoyed it, but like most multiplayer games, continuous play tires me out very quickly. Too bad I have the attention span of a baby.
: I hate the alleged Mark V armor, but I surprisingly like the Forerunner
: armor.
Yeah, Mark V nowadays is today's uggs.
: As far as the maps go, I don't trust 343 map-making abilities considering
: what launched with the game and the DLC, so I see Vertigo failing.
: Community maps are the best thing to happen to H4. I could be pleasantly
: surprised, but I'm thinking that the weapon/movement tuning is going to
: make The Pit play hardly anywhere near as fun or epic as in H3 (and I
: dread to think about what they've done with weapon placements or spawns).
The Pit was always a blast regardless of what weapons were used or game type played. I would come back to Halo 4 just for that map alone.
Looks like our shared cynicism of Halo 4 is drifting apart. :(
