My bad; it just occurred to me that the Feedback section probably only shows up if you're signed in. If you have an account, though, just sign in and search for "report" on the product page (skipping past the use in the excerpt).

Alternatively, it may be some randomized thing where only certain people see the feedback links; in that case I'll be moderately annoyed.

I hope by "spamming" you mean lots of people sending feedback reports, rather than one person sending a flood of them without even waiting for a response.

The Kindle version of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx (order number your number here) seems to be an outdated revision. As an example, the heading of Chapter Six (at location 927, on page 67) names the year as 2531, as in the book's first printings, where it should say 2532, as in more recent printings. This is true even for the latest revision in the Kindle Store (as of June 26). It seems to be the copy in the store itself that needs to be updated to the publisher's latest version.

I didn't realize til just now that the order number requirement effectively means you can only report a problem if you've bought the book, even though the Feedback section still appears if you haven't. You could buy it and return it, but that seems rude unless you intend to buy it again once the problem is fixed. Still, I imagine there might be a few people here who already own it.

It'd be nice if there were a difference within the free excerpt that could be cited, but I'm not sure I feel like combing through to look for one.

Really, I doubt Amazon are in the best position to fix the problem; but there was that convenient link on the page, whereas I'm not sure how or whether to report the issue to Nylund, Tor, 343 or Microsoft.
