I didn't want a changed Halo 1 remake. I just wanted prettified graphics and online co-op. Unfortunately, that was too much to ask for, as they did a god-awful job with CEA...

But Halo 2? Halo 2 I'd enjoy if it was a true remake. Tweaked gameplay, improved level design, better enemy AI, and giving Legendary jackal snipers focus rifles instead. Halo 2's campaign (barring later levels) is the epitome of wasted potential. Outskirts was bland, Metropolis was miniscule, there was no ending, no tie-in to Halo 3...

And the MP, while memorable, and essentially the only MP I played for three years, was very flawed. Unfortunately, your suggestions about Halo 4 maps is ironically a bad move, since Halo 4 MP sucks really bad after this last update... I'd argue it's on par with Halo 2's last days...
