See here's the deal.
PSN (basic)? Free.
Nintendo Online? Free.
Steam? Free.
Any Mobile Gaming? Free.
Basically, every possible competitor has free online multiplayer.
I mean, sure, it was worth it to pay for multiplayer then because it was the best in the market (imo). But now, all of the other services are being improved and it's appealing to people.
I feel that Microsoft needs to do something in order to prevent current consumers to other platforms, and make it appealing to possible new ones.
