For me, there's a difference between the "main" Halo series and the gap-fillers. I have absolutely no problem with Microsoft releasing games like ODST, Halo Anniversary, Halo Wars, and Spartan Assault in the gap years between the releases of Halo 3, Reach, Halo 4, Halo 5, etc.

That is, as long as the main series still:

1) Has a new title every 2-3 years (Two at a minimum, ideally three)

2) Is the main home for FPS Halo matchmaking

As long as they're not rushing the next main game or creating a competing matchmaking experience, I'm fine with more Halo titles.
