I actually didn't have a problem with the Banshee section. It's a bit of a hassle on Legendary, but even then I didn't find it particularly annoying or difficult.

The Ghost Run, on the other hand . . . it took me something like 10 tries on my first play of the game on Heroic. I'm still not sure I've ever done it flawlessly. The Ghost has a tendency to flip over, seemingly at random. It's mainly after that first big jump you go over, when the ground falls out from under you.

Although to be fair, at the time, I didn't know that the nose up button had migrated; I thought it had just been removed. It pissed me off to no end the first few times.

I appreciate they were trying to do something different, and give us a "Warthog Run," it just happened to use a Ghost rather than a 'Hog. I still think it would have been much more enjoyable in a 'Hog, though.
