One-Bomb Assualt Set Up Instructions

My game-type has been renamed as One-Bomb Assault.
The reason for this is simple. My original settings (15 second plant and 5 seconds disarm) no longer work. I don't know if it's due to a update or if it only worked because I was offline and using a guest account to test it. The bomb carrier now simply has to walk over the capture point to instantly plant the bomb. There is no Disarm available. Sorry. It sucks, but there is nothing I can do to fix this. The settings are still in place, but they just don't activate anymore. I don't understand why.

The game has been re-set to 4 rounds to allow a tie. Each round is set to 7 minutes. One point to win each round. The Carrier can still run 10% faster then others and can still throw the bomb/ball. Still set up for instant pickup to allow easy passing and teamwork. Personal Ordinance Drops are allowed as are vehicles. PODs do not allow a lot of power weapons and Forerunner weapons are still not implemented.

Set Up
This is simple. Set your map up just as you normally would for Grifball. It's basically the same thing. But there are keys differences.

Blue team should NOT have a capture point at all. It's not needed. This helps to prevent confusion for Red Team if they pick up the ball. No Delivery Point Indicator tells them they can not plant the bomb.

Red team DOES get a capture plate. The reason for this is simple. They are the defending team. duh. ;)

Blue team gets a Ball spawn. You can use a hill market or any item and set it to "Ball_Spawn" in the settings menu. Remove the item's shape to "NONE" to ensure the bomb spawns in/onto it's center point. Also set it to Attacking Team so you don't forget who gets the ball and to ensure the bomb spawns. Setting it to Defending team does nothing. The ball tends not to spawn if set to defenders. Setting it to Neutral may also result in the game-type not to work.

Set up Initial Spawns, Respawns, and Spawn Areas as you would for and Team game. Keep in mind that the game-type only supports Red (Defenders) and Blue (Attackers) Teams.

Your map should now be setup for One-Bomb Assault. It's a simple set up that most Forgers should be use to. Just remember that Red Team does not get a ball spawn but Blues do. Blue team does not get a Capture/Plant/Deliver point but Reds do.
