Most likely?
She's dedicated to the UNSC, made some sort of sacrifice, and the Covenant battle was really hard. That's like most Halo stories right there.
I don't really expect them to do too much with a miniseries. Either way, maybe the character will just grow on me because I'll have spent more time with her. Or maybe not, we'll see.
