While the Forerunners are anything but realistic, characters as more recently described in Greg Bear's books would lend itself well to his style. They developed from gods to very "human" entities. A live action Ur would be presented in a much visceral light than we saw in Halo 4, much more in keeping with the baddie he was to ancient Humans.

I'd love to see his take on the Haloverse and he's better suited for it than anyone else who's touched the series with a camera. 343 Industries should take the chance and allow him to forge a new path that doesn't need to follow their goals, but one that takes cues from and enriches it. Besides, its not like they've been all too keen on adhering to it either.
