I was already leaning towards going Sony first this time around, mainly because the Xbox brand is really lacking in the exclusives department, relying almost entirely on Halo, Gears, Forza, and Fable, not to mention I'm tired of paying $60 a year just to play Halo online (which is becoming a less and less inspiring experience). Destiny will be on PS4, and Sony's online is free. There will obviously be no Halo or Gears anywhere near launch and they're the only reasons I even have a 360 in the first place, so there's no incentive there for me to be an early adopter of the next-gen Xbox. And if all these rumors about the system are true (has to be always online, blocks used games, etc.), that gives me even less reason to bother, both as a matter of principle and for practical reasons (my internet isn't the best and has sporadic outages, not to mention Xbox Live isn't exactly always up and running; I got disconnected for several hours just the other night). I can always play Halo 5 over a friend's house if need be. I have no qualms jumping ship to Sony, and TBH I feel like I missed out by not getting PS3 earlier since it has a lot more exclusives.
