HUD, PAX East - and I told you so

At 42:10 in the PAX East panel, Bravo tells Kevin Franklin to grab a Plasma Pistol. Because Kevin was distracted, he completely forgets he still has it and doesn't even think of switching weapons to check what his secondary is. Of course it's not respawning because he's still holding it! A minute later, Bravo gets out of the tank to search for it himself, and then realises Kevin must be holding it. He finally picks up it back up two minutes later.

A little icon on your HUD sure would have helped there, huh?

Jees, I said the lack of secondary icon was a mistake as soon as I saw it at E3 last year. "No, no, no," we were assured "we did testing, it's totally fine."

Right. Cus in the real world, your own lead designer has trouble.
